How To Get Your Rod
Apart
By A. Sayward Lamb
If your fly rod does not come apart with the
usual pulling using your arms, try this. Stand up and place the fly rod
behind your knees. Grab the fly rod firmly with each hand, which should
be placed in the area of your knees, and then apply outward pressure
with your legs. This gives you more leverage than pulling with your
arms, and also applies the force in a straight line, to avoid breaking
your fly rod. |
