Brook Trout

The statewide average length of 3 year-old brook trout in Maine lakes is 13.3 inches.

Brown Trout

Normal size is 14-20 inches and 1-2 pounds. Browns occasionally reach 10 pounds

Lake Trout (Togue)

Lake trout commonly reach lengths of 18 to 24 inches and weights of 2 to 4 pounds

Land Locked Salmon

Redbreast Sunfish

Size is typically between 5 and 7 inches in Maine

American Eel

Adult females may reach a size of up to 6 feet, but normally attain a length between 2 to 3-1/2 feet in length

Alewife

Alewives reach a length of 2 to 3 inches by their first fall and are usually 4 to 6 inches long at maturity
